Monkey Business

Ok people...if i ever get a monkey to act as my surrogate child please immediately admit to the nearest psych ward. Especially if I buy it a high chair or buy diapers for it. Pure Craziness!

I Love My Kids

I just spent a good 45 minutes with my kids. I know that doesn't sound like much but since Spencer arrived our quality time has been scarce. So we read a book about Hercules, worked on our counting and then made a very ghetto countdown to school starts calendar. Nothing too exciting but totally the highlight of my week!

Tomatos

Wait just a freakin minute.......tomatoes may not have been to blame for the recent salmonella outbreak says the u.s. government. So the tomato industury takes a huge financial hit and our damn government isn't sure they are even to blame. This bothers me greatly. I hope the tomato farmers can sue the pants off the government....defamation of character (produce) maybe. I mean I am seriously pissed off for these farmers.

Maple Syrup

I smell like a big ole' jug of maple syrup. GAG. I'm quite sure I'll never eat another pancake or waffle or french toast ever again. ICK. Its all thanks to an herb I'm taking. I must say its better than the side effects of most medicines...this medication may cause headache constipiation heartburn dizziness or drowsiness compared to my medicine. CAUTION: MAY SMELL LIKE MAPLE SYRUP. MAY ATTRACT BEES AND OTHER INSECTS DUE TO SWEET SMELL. MAY CAUSE BREAKFAST CRAVINGS FOR ANYONE AROUND YOU. Lol...I gues I'll take maple syrup any day!

Floods

So yesterday the big kids flooded their bathroom. I was not a happy camper BUT it was sorta not their fault. I mean yes they shouldn't have been playing in the bathroom or playing with the water but what kind of sink does have an overflow hole. I didn't know they even made sinks w/out those hole thingies. Shows how smart I am. So now the bathroom is locked..hopefully I can figure out how to get the door open.

But their lil flood made a mess and I was just pissed having to clean all that damn water up w/ all my clean towels. I can NOT imagine how all those people must feel in Iowa and Missouri. I mean I had a 5X5 room that had an inch of water on the floor and I was pissed. These people are under feet of water, have lost everything, and have no clue when they will be able to go back to their homes if ever! Hmm...I guess when it gets put in perspective my lil ole flood isn't really that big of a deal.

Destruction does seem to be a theme around here right now...again not totally their fault. Their dresser fell over this morning. The drawers are pretty messed up but I'm hoping it can be fixed. Oh and it didn't so much fall over as it was climbled on and dumped over BUT if I was a good mommy I would have had it mounted to the wall. So shame on me...lesson learned...all furniture needs to be securely mounted to the wall.

OUCH

I have a headache. It will NOT go away. Its really beginning to piss me off. Maybe its lack of sleep. I forgot how hard this newborn stuff was. Or maybe its the crick in my neck/back. I really don't give a crap what's causingit I just want it to go away. Taken 6 advil and NOTHING...I'm about to resort to a margarita and a loracet..for medicinal purposes only of course!

Milky Mama

Fenugreek works wonders. Seriously just a few hours after I took it my supply has increased...a lot. I'm super excited lol! Just had to share!

Why Didn't I Get These Before

So when Spencer was born "he" brought the kids Leapsters. They are THE best thing EVER!!! They are like babysitters for my kids. I probably should get them each a real game but for now they are completely content w/ the demo that came w/ it. I'm telling ya'll these things are worth their weight in gold! A total bargain for 50 bucks! For 50 bucks I get peace and quiet. No crying screaming fighting or asking me for juice or a snack or a movie. It's bliss!

Doctor Doctor

After another day/night of Spencer acting like he was in pain and lots of research on the internet we took him to the doctor this morning. I think he has silent reflux so the doc gave us Zantac for him. Hopefully it works and we have out sweet calm little guy back!

Hiccups

Not that anybody cares but Spencer has the hiccups and its totally cute!!!

Yay one more thing to check off from my to do list from yesterday! I didn't even make a to do for today because I didn't want to overwhelm myself. Maybe I'll make a new one tomorrow! But yeah these are my big kids DJ (4) and Maddie (3).

It's Almost Over

Not much to report here...its been a rough one..like a 4 o'clock margarita kinda day..hey it was 5 o'clock on the east coast! lol I'll try to update later!

Blogger Brain

Anyone else find themselves "writing" their blog in their heads. Last night when I was going to bed I had a couple of things running through my head about what I wanted to write about on here. Kinda writing the post in my head lol. Of course since I have the worlds worst short term memory I now have no recollection of what the hell those things were but I swear they were very interesting!
