Medicated...WOOHOO

Went for my 6 wk post pardum check up today and I left w/ more medicines than a pharmacy lol. Seriously, I LOVE my doctor. She is an ask and you shall receive kinda gal lol. She put me on Lexapro, gave me Xanax, Seasonique, and Chantix! She promised none of these should make me gain weight..YAY since I just started weight watchers today to lose about 25 lbs! Next week Jerry and I are going to start going to the gym in the mornings to get us all ready to get up in the mornings for back to school. So hopefully very very soon I'll be a cute fit non smoking HAPPY mommy. I can't freakin wait!

Torture: Tomorrow 10:30 ACK

My damn tooth broke. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow morning at 10:30. I tried to go on Saturday morning but the dentist wasn't in. So tomorrow it is....that means I'm gettin really drunk tonight so I can actually sleep and taking two loracets in the morning so i can actually drive myself there. wish me luck.

Countdown

31 days til preschool people. This mama can't wait! I can't believe they're already old enough for school but I think we are all ready for it. I just don't have the time/energy right now to keep those creative little minds engaged. A teacher and a structured setting will just be wonderful for them.

Wow That's Bright

My hair that is. Oh lordy I screwed my hair up last night. Stupid home highlighting kits. Was trying to save some moolah but no now I have to go see my hair gal and shell out some big bucks for a cut and a color fix. My hair better look fanfuckintablulous after tomorrow!

Old Friends

Heard from an old friend today. Hope I get to see her really soon. She packed up and moved to New York and got married but shes back now. WooHoo...was one good part of the day!

Searching and Searching and Searching

Today is one of my husbands co-workers birthdays...her name is Rose. She's like 80 something and my big kids adore her. So they found out it was her birthday and wanted to make her a cake. That was last nights little project, today we decorated it. The kids had a blast and couldn't wait to take the cake up to Rose and surprise her. (So excited they even cleaned their room..I only had to ask once) Well when Jerry left earlier I asked him where our truck keys were...he says on the bed in his shorts or in the kitchen. Okay great, I can work with that, I'm sure I can find them. So I start searching, on the bed, in the kitchen, back to the bed, under the bed, under the dresser, back to the kitchen, around the kitchen baseboards (this is when I start to get really not happy)out to the truck, back to the kitchen, in the kids room, in the bathroom, back to the bed, in the dresser drawers, back to the kitchen, in the kitchen drawers, back to the truck, back to the kids bedroom, in the toy chest............NADA! This by the freakin way took me over an hour and 6 phones calls to Jerry. The last call saying I was done looking and we weren't coming up! Finally he calls me back and asks where I'm at. "uh....I'm at fucking home cause I can't find the fucking keys!" (see that's me really really mad) So I say are you sure you don't have them. He says "no sweetheart I don't have them." Me, "well could you just double check?" Him "sure I'll call you back" 2 minutes later RING RING..Me, "hello" Him "I love you" said w/ guilt dripping from his mouth. YEP you guess it....he had them the whole DAMN time. And the search was over. He came and got us, we went up to his work, delivered the cake, had a lil party and came home. Fun right? Good news, Rose loved her cake and the Spiderman and Princess cards from the big kids!

Slacker

Yep, that's me. I'm tired and being lazy lol. This weekend went by quick. Jerry got called in twice on Saturdays...I hate when he's on call on the weekend but it ends up paying off come payday.

The big kids..wheww...I don't even know where to start. They do NOT mind at all. Its gotten worse since baby boy was born..prob cause I don't get to spend as much time w/ them. But damn listen already. Needless to say I'm THRILLED that preschool starts in 37 days! WOOHOO!

Spencer is sleepin a lot lately (knock on wood lol). Maybe he's going through a growth spurt. Guess we'll see tomorrow at his checkup!

I have a toothache that comes and goes. I guess a visit to the dentist (GAG) is in order. I'll make an appt after I get my 6 wk post pardum checkup that way I can take a handful of xanax before I go. Last time I made a dentist appt. Jerry had to get on the phone to finish making the appt. cause I got sick to my stomach and started crying. Yeah I hate the dentist THAT much. Just typing about it is turning my stomach.

New subject. I need friends. Like friends I actually hang out w/. I love my two best friends but one lives far away and the other one just had a baby a few days after I had spencer so she's got her hands full. I used to have a 3rd one but I've bumped her down to a mere accquaintance. I talk to her fiance more than I talk to her..which is odd since I used to be engaged to the same guy lol. They're getting married in a week...that will be oodles of fun lol. I can't wait. So yeah I need some new friends w/ husbands that Jerry can be friends with. Then we can do the surburbanite thing and have backyard bbq's and playdates and cool shit like that. So, any takers.

OUCH OUCH OUCH

I hurt ALL over. Did I do anything to warrant all of this pain such as tons of phyiscal activity yesterday or being run over by a steam roller...NOPE. I took a freaking Zomig for a migraine (well it wasn't even a migraine just a damn headache that advil wasn't touching and had lasted for days) and I woke up this morning feeling like I had been beaten. ...severely. So I basically traded my headache for a complete and total body ache...yeah I'll take a headache any day! Fuck Zomig!

Missing Him

I miss my dad. A lot. I miss my grandma and my pop pop too but I really miss my dad. He died too young. Totally unexpected. Grandparents you expect to die..your parents...not so much. So yeah...I'm just really missin my dad.

Good movie. No, Great Movie. Ryan Reynolds...Love him..LOTS! Ever since Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place. (What the hell kinda name for a tv show is that?) Regardless, I LOVED that show. I LOVED this movie. Really. What are you waiting for...go rent it, NOW!

(Oh and has anyone else tried Redbox? That is probably the greatest invention to date. One measely dollar rents a movie. All you need is an email address and a credit/debit card. A dollar a day...freaking genius. Oh and if you forget to turn one in (like I did) after 25 days its yours...for 25 bucks. Still better than stupid late fees at the normal rental places and you don't even get to keep the movie!)

The odds are this happening are basically nonexistant seeing as how I hate to travel and I doubt Oprah could host her favorite things show from my house! Welcome Back

Yay my best friend has her internet back on! She turned in off because she was moving but now she's moved and its back on..woohoo. Made my day! Her not having the internet has seriously limited our communication. Why you ask don't we just pick up the phone and call each other...well because of my hands. Carpal tunnel sucks. Everytime I have a phone up to my ear it liteally takes 5 seconds before they are completely numb w/ sharp pains shooting through them. It sucks. But by god I can type and I can text so I'm totally thrilled she's back online!!!!

Monkey Business

Ok people...if i ever get a monkey to act as my surrogate child please immediately admit to the nearest psych ward. Especially if I buy it a high chair or buy diapers for it. Pure Craziness!

I Love My Kids

I just spent a good 45 minutes with my kids. I know that doesn't sound like much but since Spencer arrived our quality time has been scarce. So we read a book about Hercules, worked on our counting and then made a very ghetto countdown to school starts calendar. Nothing too exciting but totally the highlight of my week!

Tomatos

Wait just a freakin minute.......tomatoes may not have been to blame for the recent salmonella outbreak says the u.s. government. So the tomato industury takes a huge financial hit and our damn government isn't sure they are even to blame. This bothers me greatly. I hope the tomato farmers can sue the pants off the government....defamation of character (produce) maybe. I mean I am seriously pissed off for these farmers.

Maple Syrup

I smell like a big ole' jug of maple syrup. GAG. I'm quite sure I'll never eat another pancake or waffle or french toast ever again. ICK. Its all thanks to an herb I'm taking. I must say its better than the side effects of most medicines...this medication may cause headache constipiation heartburn dizziness or drowsiness compared to my medicine. CAUTION: MAY SMELL LIKE MAPLE SYRUP. MAY ATTRACT BEES AND OTHER INSECTS DUE TO SWEET SMELL. MAY CAUSE BREAKFAST CRAVINGS FOR ANYONE AROUND YOU. Lol...I gues I'll take maple syrup any day!

Floods

So yesterday the big kids flooded their bathroom. I was not a happy camper BUT it was sorta not their fault. I mean yes they shouldn't have been playing in the bathroom or playing with the water but what kind of sink does have an overflow hole. I didn't know they even made sinks w/out those hole thingies. Shows how smart I am. So now the bathroom is locked..hopefully I can figure out how to get the door open.

But their lil flood made a mess and I was just pissed having to clean all that damn water up w/ all my clean towels. I can NOT imagine how all those people must feel in Iowa and Missouri. I mean I had a 5X5 room that had an inch of water on the floor and I was pissed. These people are under feet of water, have lost everything, and have no clue when they will be able to go back to their homes if ever! Hmm...I guess when it gets put in perspective my lil ole flood isn't really that big of a deal.

Destruction does seem to be a theme around here right now...again not totally their fault. Their dresser fell over this morning. The drawers are pretty messed up but I'm hoping it can be fixed. Oh and it didn't so much fall over as it was climbled on and dumped over BUT if I was a good mommy I would have had it mounted to the wall. So shame on me...lesson learned...all furniture needs to be securely mounted to the wall.

OUCH

I have a headache. It will NOT go away. Its really beginning to piss me off. Maybe its lack of sleep. I forgot how hard this newborn stuff was. Or maybe its the crick in my neck/back. I really don't give a crap what's causingit I just want it to go away. Taken 6 advil and NOTHING...I'm about to resort to a margarita and a loracet..for medicinal purposes only of course!
